United States take on Mexico in a friendly in Philadelphia on Wednesday, August, 10. Jurgen Klinsmann faces a tough task on his first match in command of Team USA when he took the Mexicans in Philadelphia, Wednesday. This game on FIFA's equipment, meaning the club is required to release players. That means both teams should be in full force for what promises to be an alluring encounter.

Although it was only friendly, positive results will be great for soccer in the U.S. after a terrible performance in June at the Gold Cup final when the United States a 2-0 lead after 25 minutes but eventually lost 4-2.

Meanwhile, the New York Red Bulls defender Rafa Marquez of Mexico will be a strong squad selected to face the U.S. in a friendly on August 10 in Philadelphia. Márquez returned to El Tri after a hamstring injury against United in the final of this summer's CONCACAF Gold Cup. Also featured in the Gold Cup squad was the hero of Giovani's dos Santos, Andres Guardado and Pablo Barrera, three goals- scorers in a 4-2 defeat of the U.S. in the Rose Bowl in June. Particularly absent from the squad is Manchester United star Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, who is recovering from a concussion he suffered before the MLS All-Star Game last month.

Showdown Next week is the first-time archrivals have met since the Gold Cup, and welcoming their first since February 2008, the result 2-2 in Houston. Both teams will meet at the home of Philadelphia Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field, on August 10 at 9 pm ET.
